ROMANTIC LOVE
Valentine’s Day celebrates romantic love, which is in the Bible. Think of the Song of Songs written by Solomon.

While that is one kind of love, there are so many other facets to this four letter word. Today we will look at just four verses about love.
LOVE AND SIN

It is inevitable, that we will fail one another. This Scripture points to being willing to accept imperfection in each other and to forgive. Godly love urges us to look beyond the offense, seek understanding, and offer grace instead of revenge.
REFLECTIVE QUESION: When was the last time you were offended or hurt? How did you respond?
LOVE OTHERS

LOVE AND SERVICE
Jesus came into our world from the heavenly realms to minister to us. He first loved us, so we can love Him and others. Jesus did not just make us able to do this, but we are obligated to love one another. That is how people know we are Christians. Check out John 13:38.
REFLECTIVE QUESTION: Loving our brothers and sisters in Christ can sometimes seem like a monumental task. Realizing how much we are forgiven is helpful. How else can we make progress?

Do our actions align with our words when it comes to expressing love and care to those around us?
REFLECTIVE QUESTION: When was the last time we ‘washed another’s feet’ figuratively?
LOVE AND SACRIFICE

REFLECTIVE QUESTION: If someone stepped in front of a bullet for you or pulled you out of the water when you were drowning, how appreciative would you be? When was the last time you spent an extended time in prayer praising and thanking Jesus for His stunning and extraordinary sacrifice?
